I also added the jumper wires as I read that the original caps had a bridge. However when I keep plugging and unplugging the power cord, it will start to revive itself and play just fine for hours without shutting itself down. When I got it, the first thing I did was remove the NEC caps as they were sort of brown by this point, I replaced all of them and the system booted up, however after some time has passed and it cooled down, the system will go back to having the 3 beeps. Just like those PS3s, this one also seems to suffer from the yellow light of death issue, could also be GLOD but I can’t tell as these pcbs don’t have the traditional LED indicators, only the tiny speaker that produces the beep error codes.
